Location good, but some Issues

The room felt somewhat dated. The furniture showed wear, and the bathroom fixtures needed updating. The shower had inconsistent water temperature. The lack of an elevator was A problem since my room was on the third floor, and lugging suitcases up the stairs was inconvenient. The thin walls resulted in noticeable noise from the street and neighboring rooms.

Charming Stay Near Main Square

The hotel was very clean. The front desk staff are nice and helpful. I received a quick reply in English. Taxis were on time with courteous drivers. The location is a matter of footsteps from the main square.

The apartment was on an noisy street. I was kept awake until almost 6am by loud passersby. I wish the noise could be controlled.

All staff spoke fluent English. They were polite, helpful, and courteous. I emailed in English asking about rates. I also inquired if they could arrange a trip to Auschwitz. They offered to make all the arrangements.

My room was clean! and had basic coffee making items. The staff at the check-in location were helpful. The breakfast was excellent. A safe was available inside the cupboard. I found the room warm and air-conditioning was present, though I did not use the tv.

The room was too small. Actually, my closet at home is bigger.

the location allowed quick access to many sites. I liked the cleanliness of the room. it was very nice i could choose to not have my room serviced. breakfast at Hotel Santi had helpful staff and also was excellent.

the room had a terrible smell coming from the bathroom pipes. the walls also were quite thin.

Central Stay Done Right

The room was spacious and included a view of the street. Our flight got cancelled, and I communicated this through the Expedia app. Staff acknowledged knowing about the flight cancellation upon arrival. ALL went smoothly. Breakfast at nearby Hotel Santi was great (especially the pancakes!) and the joint staff proved helpful.

The street outside got a bit noisy at night. It made it difficult to sleep with the windows open, but that's the cost of being so central (and it's really not that bad).

the location is great. spacious bathroom, comfy beds were good. the receptionists in the hotel where we collected the keys were very kind and professional.

the noise overnight from the market square was terrible. drunk people were shouting all night. there is no lift which is difficult when so many levels up.
